Our Thirty Little Toes - Colón Family
Ceremony
Music
We had a Piano Trio (Piano, Violin and Viola) preforming for our ceremony. Both mothers and many others in our family play piano, so it was nice to incorporate the instrument in with traditional strings.
Processional: Canon in D by PachelbelBride's Entrance: Ave Maria by Schubert
Recessional: Hornpipe from Water Music by Handel
Vows
We spoke from the heart about what each of us gained from the other, and our hopes for the future. With a kiss, we began our new life together.
From this day onI choose to stand by your side;
to live with you and laugh with you;
to bring out the best in you always;
to be the best I can be, just for you;
to celebrate with you in the good times;
to struggle with you in the bad;
to care for you with my entire being;
to share with you everything that I have;
and to treat you with tenderness, compassion and love, always.
Man and Wife
With the vows done, it's time to enjoy excellent food, fine wine (or sparkling cider if you prefer) and the company of wonderful friends and family.
